Good questions
Curious about a resident or how sponsorship works? Here are the things people ask us most.
Absolutely. Choose a favourite and your monthly gift goes toward their hay, hoof care and vet bills. You’ll get updates and photos of the friend you’re supporting.
From slaughter trucks, neglect cases, abandonment and surrenders. Every resident arrived with a story — and a promise that they’ll never need a new home again.
Most are wonderfully social and love a visit. Come by appointment on the Visit page and meet them calmly, by name.
We’re a forever sanctuary, so our animals stay with us for life. The best way to “take one home” is to sponsor them — you become their guardian from anywhere.
Heated barns, deep bedding, extra feed and round-the-clock checks. Winter is our most expensive season — sponsorships and donations keep everyone warm.
Partner with the farm
Our family, our animals and our camps run on the kindness of people and local businesses. Sponsor an animal, fund a season of hay, or partner your company with the farm — and help us keep every gate open.
